NHS Boys Swim/Dive Team Activities

February 17- 23, 2010

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING SWIMMERS GOING TO STATE!!

 

Ben Allen, Alex Bell, Sebastian Bury, Chris Chan, Dehlan Gwo,

Connor O’Shea, Alex Peterson, Andrew McGinnis

 

For the week of state:  Practice will be from 1 PM – 2:30 Monday – Thursday

 

STATE MEET:

 PRELIMS FRIDAY, FEB 19, FINALS SATURDAY, FEB 20, KING COUNTY AQUATIC CENTER

 

The bus for state prelims on Friday will leave at 3:00 PM from Newport High School with warm-up at 4:45 PM and the meet starting at 5:45 PM Any swimmers that would like to come are welcome to ride the bus but they will need to pay to watch the meet upstairs as the deck will be limited to only those participating.

 

The bus for state finals on Saturday will leave at 3:30 PM from Newport High School with warm-up at 4:30 PM and the meet starting at 5:30 PM Any swimmers that would like to come are welcome to ride the bus but they will need to pay to watch the meet upstairs as the deck will be limited to only those participating.

 

Boys Swim Banquet

 

We would like to invite all swimmers, parents, and guests to attend the end of the season banquet celebrating all the accomplishments of the 2010 Boys Swim/Dive Team!!

 
When:  Tuesday, February 23rd, 6pm
Where:  NHS Commons
What:  Dinner and presentation by Coaches, etc. 
Food catered by the NHS Culinary Arts Students (guaranteed to be some of the best banquet food you have ever had!)
Cost:  Free to swimmer, $10 per additional guest.  Check (made out to Kristine Peterson) or Cash paid at door.
What you need to do:  Make a reservation by sending a RSVP by Thursday, February 18th for your swimmer and guests.  Email Connie Quarre at quarrefamily@comcast.net with your head count and family name.
 
It will be a great evening - we hope you can join us!!

It is time to celebrate the swim/dive season!!!

Last Call for Coaches Gift Payment
 
Thank you so much to the 19 swimmers/families that have paid their $15 for Eric and Fergus' end of season Coach gift.  We are asking that everyone who has not paid, please send a check right away so that we can get this taken care of before the banquet.
